Startling Revelation: Senator Natasha Exposes Governor Yahaya Bello

In a surprising disclosure, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Kogi central senatorial district in the upcoming 2023 general election, has alleged that Governor Yahaya Bello attempted to bribe her with a sum of up to N70 million to withdraw from the race.
Akpoti-Uduaghan made this revelation during her appearance on Arise TV on Wednesday morning.
According to her, Bello initially offered her N50 million to step aside for his preferred candidate.
“Back in 2018, before I joined the SDP, I was mainly a member of the APC. At that time, the Governor summoned me and nine other aspirants and requested that we drop our ambitions,” explained Akpoti-Uduaghan.
“He offered money to some individuals, including myself. Initially, he offered me N50 million, but I refused. He then increased it to ‘How about N70 million?’ if I would step down for his preferred candidate, who happened to be a Senator at the time,” she continued.
“I informed him that my motivation for running was not financial gain, but rather to make a positive impact on my constituents. This evidently infuriated him because Yahaya Bello doesn’t appreciate being challenged. He desires complete obedience to his commands,” revealed Akpoti-Uduaghan.
