Osimhen remains in Nigeria, expected to return to Napoli next week

Victor Osimhen, who is currently recovering from a hamstring muscle injury, is still in Nigeria but will be back in Italy next week to begin the intensive phase of his rehabilitation.
The 24-year-old sustained the injury during Nigeria’s 2-2 draw against Saudi Arabia on October 13.
As a result, he has been unable to participate in Napoli’s last three matches.
Osimhen has chosen to remain in Nigeria since getting injured, causing Napoli to patiently wait for his return.
The club is hopeful that he will be fit to compete against Atalanta on November 25, a crucial game in the Serie A standings.
So far this season, Osimhen has scored six goals in eight league appearances for Napoli.
