Naira gains against Dollar at forex market

Nigeria’s currency, the Naira, appreciated marginally at the official foreign exchange market on Tuesday.
According to FMDQ data at the close of the work day on Tuesday, the Naira appreciated by N177.68, exchanging at N815.32/$1.
The gain comes barely 24 hours after the Naira depreciated against the Dollar at the foreign exchange market on Monday.
Also, at the parallel market, the Naira exchanged N1170/$1 on Tuesday from N1200/1$ on Monday.
The Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, last week had disclosed that the country would soon receive an inflow of $10 billion in foreign currency to mitigate the forex crisis.
