Meeting Between PDP Governors and Nyesom Wike Scheduled to Address Rivers Crisis

During the PDP Governors’ Forum meeting at the Oyo State Lodge in Abuja on Tuesday, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, who leads the forum, expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his intervention in the political crisis.
In a statement released on Wednesday by the forum’s Director-General, Cyril Maduabum, it was revealed that the decision to visit Nyesom Wike was made during Tuesday’s meeting.
Maduabum clarified that the purpose of the visit is for reconciliation and mediation.
The statement reads, “The forum’s Chairman, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, requests member Governors to gather at his residence, No 1 Miriam Aloma Muktar Street, Asokoro, opposite Rivers State Governors Lodge, at 10.45 am to accompany him for the visit.”
The visit is scheduled to take place at the FCT Minister’s office at 11am.
