EFCC Chairman Puts a Stop to Night Raids by Operatives

The spokesperson for the anti-graft agency, Dele Oyewale, communicated this decision through a statement obtained by our correspondent.
Oyewale stated, “The chairman, in his reaction to the arrest of 69 suspected internet fraudsters in Ile-Ife, Osun State, by operatives of the Ibadan zonal command of the commission, issued this directive on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.”
“A considerable number of the suspects, who were duly profiled by the command, have already been released, and the remaining suspects will be promptly profiled and released without any further delay,” Oyewale added.
“The commission guarantees the public that it will persist in its commitment to upholding the rule of law while performing its duties,” he further emphasized.
