Allegations of President Abduction by Imo Government, According to NLC and TUC

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has accused Hope Uzodimma, the Governor of Imo State, of colluding with the state’s Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Barde, in the alleged abduction of their President, Joe Ajaero, in Owerri, the state’s capital, on Wednesday. The NLC claims that the Imo State government has consistently relied on what they describe as the “instrument of violence and force.”
