Super Falcons Defeat Ethiopia with Oshoala’s Brilliance in Olympics Qualifiers

In a remarkable display, Asisat Oshoala led the Super Falcons to a 4-0 victory against Ethiopia on Tuesday night, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
Although the Super Falcons dominated the 2024 Olympic Games second round, second leg contest, they faced difficulties breaking down the Ethiopian defense in the first half.
However, just before halftime, Uchenna Kanu managed to find the net, giving the Super Falcons the breakthrough they sought.
The second half was completely one-sided, with the Super Falcons exerting total dominance.
In the 50th minute, Oshoala skillfully dribbled past her marker and set up Rasheedat Ajibade for Nigeria’s second goal.
On the 68th minute, Oshoala scored a goal herself, beautifully assisted by Kanu.
Four minutes later, Ajibade secured her second goal of the game with another assist from Oshoala.
In the next round, the Super Falcons will face either Cameroon or Uganda.
