Pledge made by Representatives to reposition aviation sector

The main task for the committee is to develop legislation that will reposition the sector for the benefit of Nigeria and its citizens.
Eriyetomi stated, “The caliber of committee members demonstrates the seriousness of the House leadership and the high expectations.
“This newly established hi-tech-driven committee has many expectations from us. We have outlined a work plan to guide us on this journey and we will provide constructive inputs to chart our course.
“This committee is responsible for overseeing Air Safety Services at airports, Schools of Aviation, Aviation Institutions, Meteorological Services, annual budget estimates, and the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology.
“On behalf of Deputy Chairman Yahaya Richifa and myself, I pledge to run an inclusive administration where all members are treated equally. The committee Clerk and Secretariat will be empowered to function to their fullest potential.
“In the discharge of our responsibilities and any other matters referred to us, we will spare no effort and utilize our various competencies.”
