Army to Establish Security Partnerships with South Korea and Spain

A statement released by the Director of Army Public Relations, Onyema Nwachukwu, emphasized Gen. Lagbaja’s appreciation for Spain’s contributions to global peace, economic development, and regional security efforts such as the Multinational National Joint Task Force in the Lake Chad region and the Joint Task Force in the North-East, which have received interventions from the European Union.
The Spanish Ambassador commended the Nigerian Army, along with other services and security agencies, for their sacrifices in protecting Nigerians and called on everyone to continue supporting the Armed Forces in fulfilling their constitutional duties.
Similarly, the South Korean ambassador praised the commitment of the Armed Forces and the Federal Government in maintaining unity among Nigerians despite the nation’s cultural diversity.
